Ian Arougheti

Ian, originally from New York City, has had a rich and dynamic career in the entertainment industry. He kickstarted his journey at Arista Records in the A&R Department under the mentorship of industry legend, L.A. Reid. With a move to Los Angeles in 2004, Ian embarked on a new chapter at the William Morris Agency, starting as a proverbial "Mailroom Trainee" and ascending to an agent role after three years of dedicated work across Comedy and Talent desks. He continued to broaden his expertise by representing a number of comedy icons but found he had a keen eye for discovering emerging talent. This realization led him to his next challenge. He was brought in to expand the Comedy Department at Innovative Artists. During his tenure of six highly successful years at Innovative, he and his staff grew the comedy roster and department fivefold. At that point, ICM Partners came calling and he decided to make the move to Senior Talent Agent there.


Clients were relying upon Ian for his ability to not only find work for them but also to guide them in all aspects of their careers. That building process was the most rewarding part of the job for him and led Ian to his decision to transition formally in to the job he had already been doing for quite some time. Talent management would give him the opportunity to use all of his skills for the benefit of his clients.

Beyond his professional achievements, Ian is married to Emmy Award Winning Make-Up Artist Myriam Arougheti, with whom he shares a wonderful son. Ian graduated from Boston University's College of Communication and was a member of their Division 1 Men's Ice Hockey Team.

 

Justin Silvera

Justin began his career as an agent in the motion picture department of the Broder/Webb/Chervin/Silbermann agency, now known as CAA. He launched Silvera Management in 2009 as a diversified management/production company specializing in navigating the careers of writers, directors, actors, and comedians. His love and interest for comedy began at an early age when he found himself on stage performing stand up. Justin loves management and is driven by the search for distinct voices and creativity.
